TBH Fandral is tediously practical about the Hulk, with regards to him being a potent weapon for justice. Vanaheim is saved and well over 50% of the kills in that first scene went to him, that sort of thing. This tedious practicality probably conceals some of the blindness that Fandral has to the dangers posed to himself, stemming from 1) he likes Bruce, 2) Likes Bruce, 3) as demonstrated repeatedly in source material, the Asgardian brigade tend to be a bit blind to problems within the group, and 4) his life is imperiled fairly frequently. He should probably be a little bit closer to Natasha Romanoff's lipquiver trying not to pee inside black catsuit end of the fear spectrum, but he's not.
He doesn't like being thrown around. That sucks.
